This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

English Proficiency:

This qualification may provide a pathway to further studies in Master of Accounting, Master of Business (HRM), Master of Business (Marketing), Master of Economics, Master of Finance etc.

Industry Consultation

To ensure Global Institute of Education’s training and assessment practices are relevant to the needs of the industry, GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION consults with the industry on an ongoing basis. Industry engagement informs the selection of units being delivered; delivery modes and assessment methods; selection of resources as well as staff currency.
Initial consultations are usually verbal and conducted informally via email, phone, face-to-face or virtual meetings. Feedback is sought on training and assessment strategies, practices, resources, and industry skills of trainers and assessors nominated for the course.
The feedback is reflected on a draft version of the training and assessment strategy which is forwarded to industry representatives for review and approval.
The final industry approval of the strategies is recorded formally via industry feedback forms, meeting minutes (where relevant) and retained by GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONNAME’s staff.
GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION also consults trainers and assessors, industry professionals, industry regulator to ensure that training and assessment strategies meet the needs of industry as well as the requirements of the Standards for Training Organisations and Training Package requirements.
