Application assessment can take up to 10 days. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
If your application for enrolment is successful, you will receive a Conditional Letter of Offer and Offer Acceptance and Student Agreement form stating the full details of the course, tuition, and other fees to be paid, course commencement dates, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Refund Policy and your rights and obligations.
All offers are issued on the availability of places at Global Institute of Education and the assessment of your Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE).
Applicants can only be guaranteed an enrolment on the acceptance and full payment of the initial deposit with a minimum of 60 days prior to the course commencement date.
Once you have read and agreed to meet all the conditions of the letter of offer, submit your signed acceptance and student agreement and pay the initial deposit of tuition fee directly to Global Institute of Education.
Global Institute of Education will issue you an official Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) that is required to be submitted to the Department of Home Affairs for your student visa application.
Please refer to the Department of Home Affairs website for other requirements to obtain your student visa. You are not able to enter Australia and commence your studies without a student visa. If your student visa is refused, you may choose to re-apply with the consent of Global Institute of Education or apply for a refund under the refund policy.
For all visa applications in Australia, you must refer directly to the Department of Home Affairs.
Once you have received your student visa, you can prepare for your arrival in Brisbane Australia. You will need to book your flights and accommodation. If you need assistance with Airport pickup or Accommodation arrangements, please contact either your Education Agent or Student Support Services at Global Institute of Education admin@gie.edu.au (costs may apply).

Before you submit your application it is important that you provide all the above-required documents. Without these, we are unable to process your application.
Your enrolment will be assessed on the information you have provided. Upon receiving all paperwork and supporting evidence a formal assessment of your eligibility for government funding and suitability for the qualification is conducted. You will be notified by an enrolments officer of the status of this application once your eligibility has been assessed.
Please note that we are unable to finalise your enrolment until all required information and supporting evidence have been provided.
Global Institute of Education assesses the enrolment application. When deemed a successful enrolment application, the student will be issued a Letter of Offer to study with GIE. The student reads and accepts the conditions outlined in the Letter of Offer. Student fees are finalised – payment established.
If your enrolment application is accepted, you will receive a welcome email with a Confirmation of Enrolment attached, confirming acceptance into the qualification. It is important to check your junk or spam folder as this email can end up here sometimes. If not received, please contact our Admissions team on 07 3879 4142 during business hours. Your Trainer Assessor will contact you to undertake an induction and commence the learning program.
Please note that while GIE makes every opportunity to support each student throughout their study to achieve their qualification, successful completion of the qualification and employment outcomes are the responsibility of the student.
