Global Institute of Education will deliver this qualification over a 78-week period. This will consist of scheduled Student Contact Hours (SCH) for 20 hours over 3 days per week for 66 weeks plus 12 weeks of term breaks. This takes into account Public holiday periods such as Christmas & Easter, and School holiday breaks.
As this is a 78-week program it is recommended that the program is delivered over 6 terms as identified below. There are breaks included in the 78 weeks of delivery as outlined below:

After achieving the AUR30620 Certificate III in in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, candidates may choose to undertake AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or other relevant qualifications.
The main principle of RPL focuses on the outcomes rather than when or where the learning occurred. Evidence of competency is collected by the applicant and submitted to the nominated assessor and assessment is made based on the required industry standard within the relevant training package unit of competency.
Global Institute of Education is committed to providing up to date and relevant RPL information to all students during pre-enrolment and orientation whilst enrolled. Global Institute of Education staff will provide support and guidance regarding RPL enquiries. All applicants for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be provided with a copy of the relevant unit of competency and evidence requirements for the units being applied for.
Applicants who are able to provide satisfactory evidence that they have achieved the required unit of competency or competencies may progress through the course with an exemption for the RPL units. If there is any gap identified during the RPL process, then Gap training will be negotiated with the student/learner on an as needs basis and agreed to by all parties on a learning plan or training plan. Any such request has to be received by Global Institute of Education within 14 days of the starting date of the course. Any RPL may lead to a reduction in Fees and the Duration of the course which may lead to the change in students course duraiton. Students can apply for RPL. The student must lodge an RPL application form. If RPL is granted then the course duration will be reduced according to the units provided with an RPL outcome. The student training and assessment plan will be amended accordingly.
Students may also apply for a credit transfer upon enrolment.
